Working Supervisor – Roof Cleaning

£42,000 - £45,000 per annum + company vehicle after probation
Frontline Construction Recruitment is recruiting a Working Supervisor for a growing roof cleaning and roof treatment business operating across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on Working Supervisor role rather than a traditional construction Site Supervisor position. You will work alongside a small team of roof cleaning operatives, oversee the quality of their work and carry out the roof treatment and spraying yourself.
The Role:
- Working alongside and supervising a small team of roof cleaning operatives
- Overseeing roof scraping, cleaning and preparation
- Carrying out roof treatment and spraying
- Checking completed roof cleaning work to ensure it meets the required standard
- Travelling between domestic customer sites across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
- Ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Providing practical support to the team when required
- Acting as the main point of contact on site
- Helping maintain a professional service when dealing with customers
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of jobs
The successful candidate will effectively become the operational lead, allowing the business owner to step away from the tools and focus on sales, customer estimates and business growth.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in roofing, roof cleaning, exterior cleaning, property maintenance, construction or a similar hands-on environment
- Previous experience supervising or leading a small team is advantageous
- Comfortable working at height
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle initially
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Confident taking responsibility for work and quality standards
- Professional approach when working at customers' homes
A roofing background is not essential if you have strong practical experience, are comfortable working at height and have the right attitude and ability to lead a small team.
