Job Overview:
As a Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for designing and pitching new projects, providing expert consultancy and managing client expectations throughout the execution of the project.
You will work closely with our internal teams and clients to create a solution whether it is for the structure itself or a full turnkey commercial development which could include foundations, guttering and roadways for example.
Your role is to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of projects which exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and implement sector specific sales strategy in cooperation with members of the UK Board and in line with the UK strategic business plan.
- Liaise with the Design and Engineering Department to ensure drawings and technical information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Meet and exceed agreed sales and margin targets.
- Develop and explore new opportunities in accordance with the sales plan.
- Take final responsibility for projects, working with the project delivery team to ensure successful handover and financial close.
- Weekly and monthly sales reporting.
- Ensure that the company’s terms and conditions are met.
- Ensure that payment terms are adhered to.
- Account management: attend client meetings and site visits as necessary.
- Prepare accurate pre-calculations.
- Ensure that quotations and proposals are accurate and sent in a timely fashion.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
- Identify market opportunities and threats.
- Represent the company at hospitality and other relevant occasions.
- Maintain high standard of professionalism at all times.
- Report directly to Managing Director.
Benefits:
- Salary: £40,000 to £60,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - increases by 1 day each year after each complete year of service to a maximum of 5 additional days.
