SITE MANAGER – HOVE, BRIGHTON
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a £1m refurbishment project in Hove, starting late October / early November.
The project involves the full strip-out and refit of an existing building, which is being converted into an SEN school. The project is expected to run for approximately 6 months, with the successful Site Manager overseeing the works from initial strip-out through to final handover.
The role:
- Full site management from start to completion
- Overseeing strip-out, refurbishment and fit-out works
- Managing subcontractors and site labour
- Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required standard
- Coordinating trades and deliveries
- Working closely with the Project Manager and client
- Maintaining site records, RAMS and health & safety requirements
- Taking the project through to final handover
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment/fit-out projects
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience managing projects from start to finish
