Experienced Slate Roofer Required
Location: Oldham
Rate: £220-£230 Per day
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently looking for experienced Roofers to join a busy team working on residential properties.
The successful candidates will have strong experience working with natural and/or slate roofing and be confident carrying out roofing works to a high standard.
Duties will include:
- Installing and repairing slate roofing
- Stripping and re-slating roofs where required
- Replacing damaged or broken slates
- Cutting and fixing slates
- Working on residential properties
- Carrying out roof repairs and maintenance
- Working safely at height
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Roofer
- Strong slate roofing experience is essential
- Experience working on residential properties
- Good knowledge of roofing practices and materials
- Own tools preferred
- Relevant CSCS/roofing qualification preferred
- Full PPE
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
