My client is looking for a Project Manager on a permanent basis to deliver a high-volume installation of EV charge points at 500 sites nationwide at one of the UKs largest supermarket retailers.
The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering background and experience of installing EV charge points.
You will be working for a well-established civil engineering company and will be based in their Milton Keynes office.
Responsibilities
- Deliver successful project outcomes in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Plan, direct and coordinate the project activities and respective work teams.
- Provide management and direction of the project-based management team, (Project Engineers, Site Managers, Site Supervisors and HSEQ Managers).
- Provide the single point of contact with the client and key stakeholders.
- Ensure project documentation (Work Plans, RAMS etc.) are completed to a high standard.
- Track project progress, programme, report issues and manage project resources.
- Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
- Lead internal planning & commercial meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings and client progress meetings.
Requirements
- Project Management: 5 years
- Driving license
- NVQ in Project manager (desirable)
- Willingness to travel nationwide and spend periods of time away from home
Salary - £65,000 to £80,000 per annum DOE
