The Opportunity:
Our client is looking for a talented and highly experienced Project Director to work on a Pre-Construction Service Agreeement (PCSA) and then deliver a major construction project. This project is likely to be one of two they are currently tendering for, both valued at more than £80m.
They are looking for a Project Director that has expereince of running big projects (£50M - £100M) at a Tier 1 company.
What We’re Looking For:
The successful candidate will have extensive experience with commercial office projects, and be accustomed to operating within a large team comprising 20 or more people. We require a candidate with experience of both cut & carve and new build projects, in addition to experience of delivering projects in Central London.
Rewards:
This exciting opportunity offers a base salary between £100k-£135k + package.
What We Need You To Do:
- Full management of the build process to ensure that all works are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and the highest possible construction standards are achieved
- Regular meetings with the Operations Manager to monitor progress and discuss any changes to the project
- Undertake risk management, brief the design team and deliver value engineering solutions
- Highlight any resources or permissions that have not been provided sufficiently and act strategically in times of pressing need
- Conduct site visits to support the management of building contractors and subcontractors inspiring them to deliver excellent service
- Ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations and codes of practice
- Assist with preparations for sign off meetings and inspections when required
- Review project report and proposals from the design team, construction contractors and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients to build relationships and secure other work
- Ensure best practice is followed throughout the project
