Job description – Installer
My client are the largest manufacturer and supplier of luxury garden rooms in the UK. Due to their continued expansion, they are looking for high quality fitters to join their install teams.
Working in a team you will be required to contribute to the construction of our manufactured garden rooms for various clientele at their site.
Responsibilities and Duties
The work is varied and sometimes demanding with early starts. Applicants will need to have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate some or all the following skills, experience and/or qualifications:
- Previous experience in fitting, carpentry, joinery or woodworking
- Trimming and finishing
- Second fix
- Roof flashing
- Window and glass fitting
Pay and conditions
- The starting salary is the equivalent to £32,000 per annum. This is based on:
- A starting rate of £12.98 per hour and minimum 40hrs per week
- Overtime paid at time and quarter, with an average of 5-10 hours overtime per week
- Additional monthly performance bonus (estimated £1,200-£2,500 per annum)
Required skills
- Past experience in Carpentry, Installations, General Maintenance
- Able to lift reasonably heavy loads
- Reliable and conscientious
- Team player
- Hold a current UK driving license (All candidates must have a driver’s license and access to their own vehicle to travel to our factory base each morning)
