Electrician – Solar PV

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join an ongoing Solar PV installation project based mainly in Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding areas.

This is a long-term opportunity for an electrician with experience in the electrical side of Solar PV installations.

Please note: This is NOT a roofing role. You will be working strictly on the electrical installation side of the solar systems.

Duties will include:

• Installing and mounting solar PV inverters

• Installing small distribution boards (DBs)

• Running and terminating DC cabling to the roof

• Carrying out electrical installation and associated Solar PV works

• Testing and ensuring installations are completed to the required standards

• Working alongside the wider solar installation team

Requirements:

• Gold Card / JIB-approved Electrician

• Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications

• Level 3 Solar PV qualification highly desirable

• Previous experience working with Solar PV systems

• Experience with inverter installation and DC cabling

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Full right to work in the UK

This is an ongoing position with regular work available for the right electrician.
