Contracts Manager – Sports Flooring

Our client is a market-leading sports flooring contractor working on gyms, schools, arenas, and elite sports venues across the UK. They’re looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee projects from pre-start to handover, ensuring smooth delivery, compliance, and high-quality installation.
The Role
- Manage full contract lifecycle and documentation.
- Attend pre-start meetings, confirm scope, and record all variations.
- Coordinate subcontractors/operatives (CSCS/SSSTS/DBS), inductions, and site access.
- Conduct pre-start and progress site visits; oversee installations.
- Ensure H&S compliance, RA/MS approval, and risk mitigation.
- Support budgeting, materials purchasing, variations, and final accounts.
About You
- Contract management experience in construction (sports flooring ideal).
- Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised; able to manage multiple sites/projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; training provided on company systems.
