PROJECT MANAGER REQUIRED IN MILTON KEYNES
This role is for a main Contractor who specialise in Commercial Refurbs & Office Fit-Outs around the UK however you will be based at their HQ in Milton Keynes. You will have an established team around you consisting of a works manager, site manager and Foreman so you will be overseeing this team along with the day to day management of the project.
The Construction Project Manager not only needs to plan their work but also lay out the tasks for their team. A thorough project Manager needs to forecast and determine the work that needs to be done for the proposed project.
Responsabilities:
- Understanding what the client or company wants to achieve
- Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
- Drawing up a detailed plan/programme for how to achieve each stage of a project
- Selecting and leading a project team
- Negotiating with contractors and suppliers
- Directing a multi-disciplanry team
- Communicating with staff every level, in a calm, personable and with professionalism
- Overseeing several projects at the same time with the support of junior project managers, site managers and site teams
- Estimating costs/and establish trades and sub-contractors involved
- Escalating issue or items in a timely manner
Applicants must have previous Project Manager & Commercial experience and be able to provide references from previous employers.
